Leviton Light Switch Won T Turn Off

If the switch is bad you should replace it because you can t fix it.

Leviton light switch won t turn off. I took the light switch cover off to see if anything obvious jumped out at me but no luck. They previously controlled chandeliers which each had 8 20 incandescent bulbs. I m a complete novice and don t know where to start.
